Qualified high school juniors and seniors can enroll in college
courses on a tuition-free basis and receive dual high school and
college credit while finishing their high school diploma.
Tech Prep
High school students can earn college credits towards a
technical career for courses taken during high school.

Careers in Education
The Careers in Education program with the Seattle Public Schools allows high school students to take dual
credit courses. Students taking a year long 180 hour SPS Careers in Education course are eligible to apply to
Seattle Central Community College to receive up to 12 credits toward an Associate of Arts degree with an
education emphasis. College tuition is waived in lieu of a $60 administrative fee.

Washington State High School American Sign Language Consortium
The Washington State High School American Sign Language Consortium is a partnership of more than 40 high
schools across the state, with Roosevelt High School participating from the Seattle Public Schools. Roosevelt
students have the opportunity to earn dual credit toward high school graduation and at the same time college-level
academic credit in the world language category of general education. Delivered by an approved High School
consortium teacher, the instruction takes place in the high school.
