Colleen O’Rollins of North Seattle Community College has won an Honorable Mention Award in the annual National Student Art Competition sponsored by the League for Innovation in the Community College. The Seattle Community Colleges hosted the 2008-09 competition, which includes entries from the 19 founding colleges of the League, an international organization dedicated to catalyzing the achievements of community colleges and making a difference for students and communities. O’Rollins is studying both art and psychology. Her winning artwork is a 15” x 22” relief and monotype print titled “Where to?” To view all of the winners, select “League Art Competition” from the menu to the left.
