The Office of Advancement
The Office of Advancement attracts philanthropic contributions to support the commitment
of the Seattle Community Colleges to educational excellence and opportunity for all students.
Seattle Community Colleges is embarking on a promising and exciting fundraising initiative
through the Campaign for Seattle Community Colleges.
This campaign will give the colleges the potential to evolve into even stronger institutions
over the next several years and will help us transform the lives of our students, faculty and
community through the Power & Promise
of education.
Goals of the campaign include:
- Student Success – Increasing support for retention programs, scholarships,
childcare, tutoring, and emergency grants
- Academic Excellence – Establishing honors programs and endowed faculty chairs
- Campus-Specific Strategic Initiatives – Industry-related initiatives that will provide
new facilities, equipment and programs to meet the needs of high-demand fields in the region
