Our District

More than a million students have advanced their educations and their careers at the Seattle Community Colleges. Our graduates work in the top companies in the Seattle area, and more of them transfer to four-year colleges and universities than from any other college district in the state.

Our district is the largest two-year system in Washington, with three comprehensive colleges, a vocational institute and five specialized training centers located throughout the city. Like our Pacific Rim city, our colleges are vibrant and diverse, with students representing the nearly 100 different first languages spoken in homes throughout the region.
