FAQ's
Why study online?
Online courses give students an opportunity to work at their own pace and on
their own time, without having to go to a classroom.
Is online learning for me?
If you are the type of person who likes to work at your own pace and in your
own timeframe, and you have good organizational skills, online learning is a
good option for you. It is great for people with busy work schedules or family
responsibilities, because you decide when and where you do your coursework. But
distance learning is not for everyone. It requires a significant number of
hours each week, and a high level of self-motivation and self-discipline.
How much time does it take?
Students taking distance learning courses report spending 12 to 15 hours each
week working on each course. Some courses may require students to attend an
actual classroom one or two times during the quarter. Online learning does not
take fewer hours, but you do get to work during the hours that work best for
you.

that these methods are acceptable. Your instructor is available by email or
