The Career Information Center (CIC) at North provides students with full- and part-time job listings, as well as consultation
on job-related problems, workshops on cover letters, resume writing, employment interviewing,
and job search skills.
Cooperative Education provides credit for relevant work experience both on- and off-campus,
to augment classroom learning. The program allows students to apply skills and knowledge learned
in the classroom to paid workplace situations and is available in nearly all college departments.
- Information for part/full time, temporary, on/off campus, federal/state, seasonal employment
- Online database service to search and apply for both jobs and internships (registration required)
- Job Board with over 600 listings each year
- Workshops and printed materials on career development on topics such as:
writing powerful resumes and cover letters, developing a job search network, and effective interviewing strategies
- Individual job search consultations, including planning, resume critiquing, and mock interview
by appointment
- Resume Station - Fee $5.00 for currently enrolled students and alumni one year after graduation
- Career Fairs/On campus recruitment
