Current Students

Campus Services

Each of our four campuses provides extensive services for students in areas such as course advising, tutoring, career choice, job placement, counseling, child care, libraries, and more. Services on each campus may differ in the manner which they are provided.

Registration
Registration information is mailed to all new and currently enrolled students. Current students receive priority in registering. For more registration information, visit the campus website or contact the campus Registration Office.

Counseling
Advising and Counseling Centers offer educational counseling, assessment, evaluation, and some short-term personal counseling, as well as courses in college survival, study skills, stress reduction and more.

Tutoring
A variety of tutoring services is available on each campus - at NO COST - to help you achieve your academic goals and enrich your learning experience. Academic assistance can be in individual one-on-one sessions, small-group settings, study buddies/groups, or extra-time with instructors. Career Services
The Career Information Centers located on each campus provide assistance exploring career decision-making, job outlook, re-entering the labor market, changing careers paths or personal life direction.

Job Placement Services provide employment-related services to students, including job searching, resume & interview skills, and on-campus recruiting. On some of our campuses, they are located with the Career Information Center.

Child Care
Child Care Centers provide on-site professional child care for children of students and staff of Seattle Community Colleges.

Age Requirements
At Central and North, children must be between the ages of 18 months and 5 years old.
For South, children must be between the ages of 30 months (toilet-trained) and 9 years old.

Fitness / Wellness Centers
Fitness / Wellness Centers on each campus promote exercise, healthy lifestyles, physical activities and sports. North also hosts our district basketball teams.

Libraries
Along with a physical presence on each campus, the libraries are joined by an online catalog and inter-campus loan system. Use the Library Catalog to find books, videos, CDs, DVDs and other materials in any of the Seattle Community Colleges' libraries.

Parking / Commuting
Parking is available on each campus (limited availability) and is by permit only. Seattle Community Colleges supports alternative modes of commuting by providing several transportation options, including Metro bus passes.
