Programs & Study Options | Associate of Arts

The Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree offers the most direct route for transfer to a baccalaureate institution (four-year university). This degree is accepted by most of Washington’s four-year institutions and often constitutes the first two years of work toward a bachelor’s degree. Although the lower division courses concentrate on the general education components of the degree, students are encouraged to focus these lower division courses toward their intended majors.
