Campus Parking

Parking is available at each of our campuses with the exception of SVI (limited availability) and is by permit only. Parking permits are available at the Cashier’s Office on each campus. Proof of paid enrollment for the appropriate quarter is required when purchasing a quarterly permit. For daily parking rates and more details about parking permits, refer to your campus:

Fall 2011 - Spring 2012 Parking Rates (Reduced Rates)

Rates include 10% City Parking Tax and 9.5% State Sales Tax

North/South

0 - 5 credits 21.25
6 - 10 credits 42.75
11 or more credits 64.00
Carpool Rates (2 or more students)

Central

Rates based on time of day

Commuting

  • Ride the Bus, Train or Water Taxi:
    Students taking 10 or more credits may be eligible to purchase a SCCD-issued ORCA Transit Pass for $125 at the Cashier's Office. Students taking fewer than 10 credits may be eligible to purchase the ORCA Transit Pass for $200.

  • Take the WA State Ferry:
    Students taking 10 or more credits may qualify to receive a reimbursement of up to $60 per quarter.
  • Carpool:
    See Parking for special rates. Visit Ride Share, a free carpool service provided by Metro for further information.
  • Ride a bike:
    Each campus has bike racks. Be sure to lock and secure your bike. It is a good idea to register your bicycle’s serial number with the security office on your campus.
